Vocational Rehabilitation Services v Funded Services
Shaw Trust provides both fee based Vocational Rehabilitation services and other funded employment schemes such as Work Choice and Work Programme. Many of the funded programmes assist a vast amount of individuals back to work.Rehabilitation providers, solicitors and insurers are not able to refer individuals directly to the funded schemes, and, in addition, each of these schemes has strict eligibility criteria through disability, relevant benefit receipt and geographical placing.
Shaw Trust fee based Vocational Rehabilitation integrates the experience, knowledge and resources that we have gained over nearly 30 years of supporting people into work and now enhances these services to the needs of the personal injury, life, health and protection insurance market.
Our commercial Vocational Rehabilitation services offer increased service level standards, with both the referrer and individual benefitting from:
- Coverage and Capability – Professional and experienced Vocational Rehabilitation specialists, who have extensive experience assessing and supporting claimants with their return to work, following accident or ill health, with the ability to tap into our UK wide resources
- Regular Contact – Claimant receives regular contact with their allocated Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant and their local advisor without the compromise associated with funding. Regular reporting and goal setting
- Assured delivery – Services provided in line with the Rehabilitation Code of Best Practice and Vocational Rehabilitation Association Standards
- Secure and appropriate outcomes – Remaining impartial we deliver under the pre-action protocols and Rehabilitation Code of Best Practice, aiming to return a claimant to pre injury earnings and status in line with medical guidelines and approval
